The City has maintained its annual certification as a Community Wildlife Habitat with the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) since it was originally certified in 2017. This is earned by conducting outreach events with the public about gardening for wildlife, attending NWF meetings, and private property owners in Hollywood voluntarily certifying their properties as wildlife habitats with NWF.
